Well, the 45 minute drive north to Port Gawler, the venue for Enchanted 7, was graced by a glorious sunset and the smooth chillout choons of Afterlife's "Speck Of Gold" album making the trip ever the more enjoyable. After catching some of the other sets at Enchanted's various stages I then headed over to the open air "Summertime House Stage". A very decent sized crowd gracing the dancefloor whilst the disco lights complemented the lights from the stars above (and a few glow sticks) creating a great vibe.
Big choons were "Weekend" by Michael Gray, "Strings of Life" (MTV Rmx), "Flashback", "Love U Bring Me" and "Dirty Filthy". Unfortunately a shorter set than what I would have liked (only 1 hour!) and being severely restricted by the fact there was only one CD player (an old pioneer that kept skipping!) were the only downpoints of the night. Highlights in addition to the reaction to the choons and the great crowd generally were the lovely ladies who wanted autographs (including one across her chest!) and those listeners who introduced themselves... thanks for coming out to Enchanted 2004 and for the respect!
