As from 6 February 2005 SoulGood will be on between 9pm and 11pm on Sunday Nights. This currently is the timeslot held by Fresh Forum (we will be swapping timeslots).

The timeslot means:

1. no longer will SoulGood be on whilst reality TV shows are on (eg Big Brother, Australian Idol, American Idol, My Restaurant Rules etc). These shows do usually attract a large youth audience, so now more people will have a chance to listen in.

2. SoulGood will be on whilst some people are getting ready to go out on Sunday Nights.

3. SoulGood will be on whilst others are chilling with friends or winding down.

4. People listening via the web (most of which are in Europe) will not have to get up so early... (SoulGood will be on in the UK between 10:30am GMT to 12:30pm GMT Sundays and even later in other parts of Europe). * FreshFM will be webstreaming with high and low quality soon.

5. Those who ordinarily like to listen on Sunday Nights hopefully won't be disrupted too much (as opposed to moving SoulGood to a completely different night of the week).

I appreciate that many people would like SoulGood to be on a Saturday Night and I can understand those sentiments and the logic behind it. Unfortunately, that is not possible at this stage, given what FreshFM is seeking to do as a whole with different forms of music.

To summarise:
SoulGood. Sunday Nights 9pm-11pm. FreshFM 92.7Mhz Adelaide.
