News: I have been selected as a nominee into the Heineken Thirst DJ Comp 2005. What's this all about?

Well, judges have been lurking through clubs across Australia (and in this case Adelaide) to try and find the most talented DJs. Only 4 from Adelaide are chosen. I have been chosen/nominated. Nominees are then to supply a mix to the organisers, who post the mixes online along with the other nominees from Adelaide. (Nominees from other states will also do the same).

The public will then be invited to go online and vote (for me) from Monday 11 April 2005. The finalist in each state will be selected by a combination of votes from the public and a national voting panel. The finalists will then be flown to Sydney to play in front of a packed crowd at the final at Thirst – Sunday April 24th (2005). Erick Morillo and other international judges will select the winner. The winner will then warm up the crowd before before Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo play their sets.

To vote:

Step 1: Go to the Heineken Music Website.

Step 2: Click on "DJ Comp" (listed across the top). This will bring up a page with all the DJs (State by State).

Step 3: Look in the box with "SA" across the top and vote for me by clicking the vote button next to Bill Fragos!!!

You can vote once every 24 hours. You can also listen to the mixes each of the DJs have supplied.
