On a personal note, April has been a huge month for me, with winning the Sth Australian section of the Heineken Thirst DJ Comp and travelling to Sydney to perform in front of a huge crowd alongside some very talented DJs from around Australia & NZ (Jimmy B, Habebe, Mo Funk, Anyo and Switch). I also met (again) Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo (who also performed on the night) and Carl Kennedy, who all gave some much valued comments of appreciation and advice.
Further, this website and the radio show have been nominated for a SA Dance Music Awards and I am up for an award for Most Popular House DJ. That recognition in gaining nomination is an achievement in and of itself, regardless of "winning". I have met some really nice & important people and looks like I may be travelling to play around Australia. To those who have supported me, the radio show, the website and my performances I say thank you; it is much appreciated!
