Having never travelled to Canberra I didn't know what to expect. My slight apprehensiveness was eased when I arrived to see a near capacity crowd in a very cool and stylish venue: Minque. I started with a vocal vibe, with tracks like "Feel the Music" by Dynamic Rockers and "Make a Move" by Joey Negro getting a good response. Within 20 minutes of the start of my set Minque was at capacity. Easing into an upfront style with "Brighter Days" (Haji & Emmanuel Rmx) and "Watch The Sunrise" by Axwell, the audience started to shake.... and it was on!

Received great responses to "Be Free" by Miami Dub Machine, "Pasilda" (Haji Rmx) and "Coracao" (Axwell Rmx). The biggest reactions were saved for "Shined on Me" (Jerry Ropero & Denis the Menace 2006 Rmx) and the two big SoulGood exclusives - off the hook!! I really enjoyed the 2.5hour set, with everyone highly appreciative and exceptionally friendly, which created such a great vibe for the night. RobKay from Cabin Crew then completed the night with a very funky electro/breakbeat house set. Thanks to Rob, to Chris and the crew @ Minque, and to all the people that introduced themselves (and for their kind words and respect).
